DONALD TUSK( Polish prime minister)
Following the prime minister’s visits to China, India and other rapidly developing countries, the trip to Nigeria is likewise aimed at linking the Polish economy with fresh, growing markets, as stressed by the Government Information Centre (CIR).
Poland sees Nigeria as one of the fastest developing countries of western Africa. Chinese, German, Russian and American investors have been present there for several years now.
During his visit, Prime Minister Tusk will hold talks with the Nigerian president Goodluck Jonathan, as well as the governors of several regions and local entrepreneurs. He will also participate in the Polish-Nigerian Economic Forum.
Poland will be represented there by CEOs of the biggest Polish companies from the oil, industry, energy, transport, food and financial sectors.
Poland is currently building an LNG terminal that is scheduled to be launched next year.
