Aki to Stun Viewers in New MNET Drama Series

                    

Award-winning Nollywood actor, Chinedu Ihedieze, aka Aki, seems determined to take his career a notch higher than ever. For this reason, he has become quite choosy about making future appearances in the movies.

In a brief telephone interview with Punch Nigeria, he said that gone were the days when he used to appear in a movie because he wanted to keep being visible or relevant in Nollywood.

“Those days when I settled for anything just to be visible are over. Now I go for good quality films. I have reached a point where I cannot settle for anything less. For me, this is the best way forward,” he said.

Just like he mentioned during a recent interview published in an online entertainment blog, Aki said he had just taken part in the shooting of a TV sitcom for MNET, an exotic blend of comedy and family drama titled ‘The Johnsons’.

Apart from featuring in The Johnsons, he plans to work on a new movie with a leading Nollywood producer soon and hopes that it will be accepted as a criterion for measuring quality in due course.
