Qatar flays attacks in Nigeria

Doha: The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the two attacks that targeted a mosque and a market in Mubi town in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria, and left a number of people killed and injured.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons. The statement stressed Qatar’s absolute rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating innocents. The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Nigeria, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
