Mariah Carey gives backup dancer clumsy lap dance

                            

A backup dancer was lapping up all the attention on stage with Mariah Carey. Choreographer Bryan Tanaka, who was touring with the pop diva until he fractured his leg, was in for a surprise Monday night when the singer decided to straddle him during her performance of "Touch My Body." 


It all went down at her concert in South Africa, where a blindfolded Tanaka was brought out by his fellow dancers and told to sit down on a chair as the "Hero" crooner got down to business.

It wasn't the sexiest lap dance.

Carey barely moved, leaving Tanaka, leg cast and all, to do all the work. As seen in a YouTube video, the recently engaged Carey flung herself backward in such a manner that the dancers reached out to hold her in fear that she would fall.

The awkwardness ended when Carey told the crowd, "that was his moment, he broke his leg on tour ... it is what it is."
