Mariah Carey’s 13th studio album has a release date

Lambs around the globe are bracing themselves for the release of Mariah Carey‘s long-awaited 11th studio album on July 27. Mimi graciously tweeted the news that her follow-up to the underrated Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel is due mid-Summer. The sure-to-be-amazing opus is still untitled but we can expect a name any day now. The former Idol judge tweeted a fan that she is still “trying to decide between two or three [names] right now”. Fingers crossed she comes up with something as hilarious – and amazing – as E=MC²! 2013 is shaping up to be a banner year for the articulate pop titan with her Miguel-assisted single 

“#Beautiful”currently sitting pretty at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. With a tour on the horizon and hitmakers like Jermaine Dupri, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Mike WiLL Made It, and Rodney Jerkins working on her new tunes, this promises to be the diva’s biggest era since The Emancipation Of Mimi.
