Ekiti State deputy governor, Funmilayo Olayinka, dies of cancer at 52

     

The deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka, has died of cancer according to family sources
She was 52 years old.

Until her demise, Funmilayo has been deputy to Dr. John kayode Fayemi since October 16, 2010.

The late Funmilayo who came to the government from the banking sector was also a champion of women’s rights.
She’s survived by a husband and three children.
